Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy describes what information Qeet Group ("we", "us") collects when you use our website at qeet.in, and how we handle that information.

This document is a placeholder draft. It reflects how the site is currently configured, but it has not been reviewed by counsel. Replace before launch.

What we collect

We collect very little, and only what is necessary to operate the site and respond to direct inquiries.

  • Contact submissions. When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect the name, email address, topic, and message body you provide. We use this information to reply to you. We do not add it to a marketing list.
  • Newsletter subscriptions. If you sign up for newsletter updates, we store the email address you provide so we can email you when we have something to share. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter we send.
  • Analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics service (Plausible) to understand which pages are visited and how often. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. The data we see is aggregate.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) for short periods as part of normal operations.

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party social pixels, or session replay tools.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking. The site sets no first-party tracking cookies and loads no third-party tracking cookies. Plausible, our analytics provider, is cookie-less by design.

The site does use one piece of local browser storage (not a cookie): localStorage records your light/dark theme preference so it persists between visits. It is never sent to a server and contains no identifying information. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to messages you send us.
  • Operate the site and keep it running reliably.
  • Understand which content is useful so we can improve it.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the services listed below.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of services to run the site:

  • Vercel for hosting.
  • Resend for transactional email delivery when you submit the contact form.
  • Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics.

Each of these processes some data on our behalf, governed by their respective terms.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete a message you've sent or any information we hold about you at any time. Write to support@qeet.in.

If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), those rights apply. The fastest path to exercising them is the same address above.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves or as the services we rely on change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
